Video courses
Do any of these apply to you?
What if I told you that it's really possible and anybody can learn a language if they know how?
And it doesn't have to take years, you don't have to travel abroad and you don't even need any language courses or teachers?
Let me briefly introduce myself 🙂 My name is Lýdia Machová and...
I've worked with languages professionally as an interpreter
I've been working with languages professionally all my life. I did my PhD in Interpreting studies and worked as an interpreter in Slovakia and abroad for 6 years. I've interpreted Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, former Slovak prime minister Iveta Radičová, former First Lady of Slovakia, Ms. Gašparovičová and many Slovak ministers.
I've held a TED talk on language learning
In November 2018, I had the honor to talk at the prestigious TED Salon conference in New York. The topic of the conference was "Unconventional" and the curators thought that my approach to learning languages fits the framework perfectly. Within 5 days, the talk received over 1 million views and was named TED Talk of the Week.
Forget the way you’ve been learning languages so far
Ask yourself one question: does the way you’ve been learning German, Spanish, French, or any other language work for you?
If yes, congratulations! Keep it up 🙂
If not, how about changing it somehow? As Einstein said: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results…
Language Mentoring brings you a whole new approach to learning languages. It’s totally different from what you might have tried elsewhere. When learning a language, 95% of us make the same fatal mistakes:
Such a way to learn languages is not only ineffective, but also quite boring. No wonder that we remain on the “false beginner” level for years and years on end.
Tony Robbins, a well-known speaker, author and philanthropist, whose seminar I had the honour to interpret, once said:
"If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you'll achieve the same results." - Tony Robbins
Maybe you’ve asked yourself the question: How do polyglots do it then? People who can learn 5, 10 or even 50 languages?
They either have some special skills or they know a secret recipe to learn languages…

Polyglots don’t learn languages using the “school system”...
Each polyglot has their own method which suits them perfectly, and they can learn new and new languages with it without much trouble. These methods can be very different.
There are a few things, however, that all polyglots have in common:
My language learning philosophy
Learning a language must be fun
Otherwise, it won't be half as effective. Your primary goal in language learning should be to find the right methods and resources which you will enjoy using and which you won't find boring.
Learning with a system is much more effective
Whether you're using a self-learner book or a combination of various resources, you need to have a learning system in place. Set yourself goals for a certain period of time and hold yourself accountable.
Use effective methods which really work
Many methods enable you to learn lots of words quickly but they only stay in your short-term memory. If you want methods that really work, watch how other polyglots learn languages.
Make sure you have a lot of language contact
There is no shortcut to language mastery. You need to put in hours of input (listening and reading) and output (speaking and, if you like, writing). Repeated exposure to the most frequent words will make sure the language sticks.
If you keep these four principles, your success in learning any language is guaranteed.
Now you have a chance to make a breakthrough in your language learning!
- Forget attending expensive language courses that never get you anywhere
- Forget memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary word by word
- Forget your fear of speaking in the new language because “you’re not fluent yet”
- Forget learning from boring books
- Forget learning in a chaotic, non-systematic way without any visible progress
You can learn a foreign language
using polyglots' methods too!
I've put all my know-how I've collected over 17 years of learning 8 languages into two video courses with an exact guide for learning any foreign language on the beginner or any other level:

I can’t recommend “Language Mentoring” enough! If you really want to learn a language and are willing to take full control of the entire process, then look no further. I’ve been struggling with Russian (as a third language) on and off (more off than on) for five years now but have made a significant amount of progress in just three weeks. You will feel enough progress (that is if you are responsible) that you will wish to continue. And the will to continue because of seeing the light through this system is the magic behind it all. It’s as simple as that."
Blows my mind how well the material is organized and detailed. Lydia is brilliant and so much fun. I learned how best I learn and the confidence that I can teach myself a language or anything!! Incredible. Best course I HAVE EVER TAKEN IN MY LIFE
The strategies taught by Lydia are common sense yet effective when you formulate a plan.
I would recommend it to anyone that is learning a language. It is the tool box that is needed to learn without wasting your time trying to discover all these methods on your own.
If you want to really learn a foreign language but you don't know how, listen to this girl. She's nice, smart, she talks in an interesting and inspiring way and she'll give you so many ways to improve your languages that if you can't make it work after this seminar, you never will! 🙂
I signed up for the seminar because I felt the need to improve two languages that I was once good at but then they got rusty. I can tell you honestly that Lýdia's seminar was a very positive surprise as to the know-how and methods she presented. I'm very grateful for this opportunity. The seminar gave me a wave of energy to start learning languages again, which I think was my biggest issue. Now I have an exact plan, so any excuses are irrelevant.

FAQ
Who are these courses for?
For anyone who want to seriously learn a foreign language and want to learn it in the so the won't be just eternal beginners but really want to use it in practice.
Who is this course NOT for?
For people who expect a magical method that will teach them a language in two weeks. Unfortunately, such miraculous methods do not exist, although the internet is full of such promises. As a person who’s learnt 7 languages to a fluent level, I know language learning requires some effort but this effort can be made in a pleasant and fun way. This video course will show you exactly how to work on your foreign language in a way which you’ll enjoy and which will suit you.
What languages can I learn with these courses?
Basically, any language at all. The know-how in the video courses is not bound to any particular language, although I must say that my experience in language learning is mostly with European languages. The bonus resources include specific links and tips for English, German, French, Spanish, Polish and Russian, but more languages will be added soon based on what participants of the course will need most.
I am not an English native speaker, is that a problem?
Not at all! If you can read this page without greater difficulty and if you’ve understood most of what I say in any of my videos in English, you’ll have no problems following my course. Right now, the videos do not have subtitles but English subtitles will be added soon, and we’re also planning to add Russian and Spanish subtitles later on.
I have the opportunity to speak in the foreign language at a language course. How does it work with learning "home alone"?
The videocourses contain specific information on how you can practice speaking without a teacher, even much more often and in many cases for less money (or for free).
How much can I improve with these methods?
That depends solely on you. I have had students who made an incredible progress in just two or three months. They learnt the language every day for a few hours, but they loved it because they found the perfect methods and materials for themselves. Others decide to work on their language for just 15 minutes a day. That is much better than doing nothing, but of course, it will not make you fluent in just a couple of weeks. I suggest you find 30 to 60 minutes a day and that’s usually enough to see a very visible improvement in your language skills after two or three months, especially if your learning until now has been irregular and not systematic.
I'm not very skilled with technologies and I don' like reading from a screen. Are these methods also suitable for me?
Of course! My methods are suiteble for smartphone fans as well as book fans. The greatest advantage of this is that you pick what you want yourself.
I'm interested in the video course but I won't be able to watch it in the near future.
No problem. The video course is not bound to any time and everybody goes through it at their own pace. You can buy it now and watch it in a couple of months. The access is for a lifetime.
It all sounds good, but I don’t have the discipline to learn by myself
Many participants of my courses thought the same 🙂 We are all a bit lazy, and it’s difficult to stay motivated by yourself. But this is exactly where having a system and a plan help immensely. If you decide to listen to a podcast for 10 minutes every day on your way to work, and you’ll put your headphones next to your keys, it’ll be easy to follow this simple rule. In the video course, you’ll learn lots of such little tricks.
